Studio Etiquette / FAQ’s

Policies/Guidelines

New Client Policy: Please arrive 10 minutes before class starts. At your first visit, a filled out waiver with signature is required before you can take class. Clean socks (with toes!) required for hygiene purposes in all barre classes. We sell grippy socks, but any socks will do! All other equipment will be provided. Class reservations highly recommended as many classes fill up. For our bike classes, shoes are required. We sell spin shoes with SPD cleats

Wait List Policy: If you are trying to sign up for a class that is full, we highly encourage you to put yourself on the waitlist. As people cancel, those on the wait list will be notified via email or text that they have been added.

Late Entry Policy: New students may not enter a class late. Returning students may enter an ongoing class up to, but not after, 5 minutes. Please keep in mind that if you are attending a an early morning class (6am) the studio will be locked one minute (5:59am) before the class starts. This is to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. Unfortunately, for an early morning class, if you arrive at the time the class is set to begin, the doors will already be locked.

Late Cancel/No Show Policy: In order to have adequate time for waitlisted clients to make arrangements to attend a class time, and out of respect for our amazing instructors, please cancel at least TWELVE hours before your class is scheduled to begin. Those who do not will be charged the price of the class. Unlimited members will be charged a $12 late cancellation fee or a $15 no-show fee if you do not notify us that you are unable to make it.

Barre Attire: Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Preferably not too loose or baggy so teachers are able to see your alignment and form. Socks (with toes!) are required for hygiene purposes - we sell grippy socks at the studio.

Bike Attire: Wear comfortable clothing that you can sweat in. Shoes are required. We sell women’s spin shoes, but do not rent any at this time. You do not need to have spin shoes to take the class, any athletic shoe is totally fine. If you do have spin shoes, we have SPD clip ins. Hand towels are provided.

Pregnancy: Balance classes are a very safe workout for pregnant and postpartum women. A few minor modifications make the barre classes a very thorough and effective workout to help women look and feel their best. Please note that a written consent from your doctor is required stating that you are cleared for core strengthening exercises. The spin class can be attended while pregnant as long as you have previously been engaging in cardio exercise. A doctors authorization is also required for spin classes.

Cell Phones Policy: No cell phones allowed in the studio. This is your time to disconnect and focus on YOU.
